- Violating any applicable law, regulation, or governmental requirement, or encouraging or facilitating others to do so.
- Infringing or misappropriating the intellectual property rights of Xyloid or any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data, or bypassing or defeating authentication or access controls.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network, including penetration testing, without prior written authorization from Xyloid.
- Introducing or transmitting malware, viruses, worms, ransomware, or any other malicious or harmful code.
- Disrupting, degrading, or overloading the Site or any system, including through denial-of-service activity, excessive requests, or any action that interferes with normal operation.
- Scraping, harvesting, crawling, or collecting data from the Site through automated means without our prior written permission.
- Engaging in harassment, threats, or abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content or conduct.
- Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation, impersonating any person or entity, or forging headers or identifiers.
- Interfering with, disabling, or circumventing security controls, monitoring, or protective measures.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your use of the Site and any Xyloid-provided systems, and for any activity that occurs under your access. You must use reasonable care to protect any credentials provided to you, keep them confidential, and not share them. You must use the Site and systems only for their intended and authorized purposes, and you must comply with any additional instructions or acceptable use requirements that we communicate to you. You must promptly notify us of any known or suspected unauthorized access, security incident, or violation of this Policy.
4. Reporting Security Issues or Abuse
We take the security and integrity of our systems seriously and welcome responsible reports. If you become aware of a security vulnerability, a suspected compromise, or any abuse or misuse related to the Site or Xyloid-provided systems, please report it promptly to security@xyloidtechnologies.com. When reporting, please provide enough detail to help us understand and address the issue, and please do not exploit the issue beyond what is necessary to demonstrate it.
5. Consequences of Violations
We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. We reserve the right to take any action we consider appropriate, including warning you, restricting or suspending your access, removing content, and terminating access to the Site or Xyloid-provided systems. Where a violation may involve unlawful conduct, we may refer the matter to law enforcement or other authorities and cooperate with their investigations. Nothing in this Policy limits any other rights or remedies available to us under law or under any separate agreement.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date associated with this document. Changes are effective when posted to the Site. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site or Xyloid-provided systems after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
